Completed Supervisor Training with Karen Hixson, Ph.D.

I recently completed a 30-hour training in clinical supervision with Karen Hixson, Ph.D. This training focused on racial justice perspectives and included a family systems component.

This training was a great fit, because bringing an intersectional anti-oppression lens to therapy and to supervision is really important for me. Although other supervision trainings are offered in our region and online, I felt that this training was most closely aligned with my values.

I really appreciated Karen Hixson‘s ability to embody the material. Unique Page developed the curriculum along with Karen, and her power and compassion shone through in the example videos.

Soon, I’ll be adding my name to the supervisor registry for LPCs and LMFTs. It’s cool to be able to support young therapists as they hone their craft, especially because private practice is often not emphasized in graduate programs.

If you might be interested in setting up a supervisory relationship with me, please get in touch!
